We currently have an AP Analyst opening based out of our Hyderabad office. This position will report to our AP Manager.
What would you do, if hired?
- Receive, verify, reconcile and process vendor invoices into Coupa
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for procurement, AP, and expense processes and modules in Coupa and related systems
- Review and record corporate credit card activity and audit employee expense reports
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and record entries upon obtaining appropriate approvals
- Perform Supplier statement reconciliation as received from vendor and when needed as per internal requirements.
- Recommend and/or initiate business process improvement opportunities around the AP processes to guarantee invoices are paid on time
- Managing the entire Travel and Expense (T&E) process, including reviewing, auditing expense reports, and preparing related reporting
- Provide backup for audits to internal and external requests
- Answer all vendor and internal inquiries and resolve issues
- Work independently and cross functionally with the various teams to provide support and accountability throughout the P2P lifecycle
- Manage the vendor onboarding and maintenance processes globally in Coupa; in alignment with contract terms
- Validate and store vendor tax information in Coupa, assist with 1099 filing
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts payable processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional business partners
Who are we looking for?
- Accounting professional with a minimum of 2-3 years experience (SaaS industry is a plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent major
- Strong solid knowledge of Procure to Pay & Accounts Payable
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
- Exceptional time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Self-starter that can operate independently with general direction and take appropriate action
- Proven track record of handling multiple customers and meeting deadlines
- Outstanding oral communication, analytical and written skills
- Experience with NetSuite and Coupa
- Background and knowledge of 1099 tax filing preferred
- Advanced knowledge of G-Suite and MS Excel
